Its already one year ago, when I started my semester of awesomeness. An adventure that I started together with Mona, turned out to be a once in a lifetime experience! We survived driving on the left, rough seas, narrow roads, horseback riding trips, the irishness and what not!
Now, one year later we still have all of these awesomes memories, photos, videos, Facebook posts and friends all around the world.
We're going to meet up again this August in Prague! Woohoo!
But in the meanwhile were having all these mini reunions in Paris, Berlin, osnabruek, Amsterdam and Groningen, Vilnius and more!
It's really cool to be able to travel around the world, and visit everyone, and see all of the awesome places and buildings in the world!
If I had to make a top 5 of countries/places that I wanna visit, this would be:
1 Montpellier
2 Vilnius
3 Iceland (even tho I don't know anyone there..;))
4 Sweden
5 Canada!
And hamburg is def. gonna happen coming semester! And of course Prague, and already booked a holiday to wallonie, French Belgium this summer!
And I hope some people want to come to visit Groningen :D
It was quite a change to go back to holland again, and going back to school after a year of internship and study abroad! And Im not talking about the fact that I can buy Hagelslag in the supermarket again! Ghehe
The past semester I have been busy working on a project, together with 4 other classmates. We had to make a promotional video for a company that offers courses for companies that have to work with in and export of products.
It was a nice project and we had a lot of laughter and some great adventures. We had to drive through whole Holland to shoot footage and to interview people.
For one of our trips we had to go to the south of Holland, to Maastricht. because we life in the north, we decided to book a hostel and to spend the night in Maastricht, so we would have to leave so early. as we were joking around, making sarcastic comments about everything, one of our projectmates checked te booking again, and told us that we book the wrong date, or actually that I booked the wrong date, since I actually did book it.
at first we were all like, shut up, what are you talking about.. is this another sarcastic joke like? but then we checked it again and Yes, I booked the room for the wrong date!
some of us got slightly stressed, and some of us were laughing non stop because of the situaties that just appeared. What's to be next? we have to sleep in the car? Or what else to do if they won't have room for us thís night?!
I can imagine that this is a stress factor for some people, but i just really enjoyed the conversations after we found out!
'Do I have to sleep alone in a dorm? I won't.. seriously!!' [end quote]
fortunately, we informed at the desk for availability and she could still book us, all together in 1 room.
Bring out the wine! and also: Bring out the scary stories! :D
The next day we filmed in a castle, that was fair grand! it was a long day, but eventually we had some usefull footage! :D
Yesterday we had the premiere of all of the films that have been made in the past semester. A classmate of mine and myself had the honor of hosting the show. It was an amazing experience and it was very nice to see all of the films on big screen in a theatre setting! I expect the film to be placed on our clients website sometime soon, and them ill share a link with you!
Now I'm kind of glad that that project is done, considering all of the time we spend on editing the film! We had days from 9 am to 10 pm! But we're done, we did a great job and I expect our grade to be quit good! :d
Of course, what's a premiere without an after party, and I happen to have picture of the party faces! I'll share them on Facebook in a short while!
Also, I've tried to make some nice video's, discussing some matters that i've giving some thoughts.
you can check them out here . While ur at it, leave some suggestions behind for things i should give some thoughts and should discuss in a new video!
Yay for Facebook, Yay for skype and yay for Youtube. This way we're still in touch world wide with the Erasmus people.. The dreamteam untill the end of humanity! ;-)

Hai everyone!
Like most of you know, I went back to Ireland for one week. The plan at first was to go to montpollier a week, in October, But since ill be having a new job from september on, october wil probably be a buisy week. So I decided to surprise the guys, who where still in Ireland.
I whatsapped Sarah and we booked the flight together. 22nd august would be the day that Sarah and myself would fly from Eindhoven back to Ireland. And we did.
The surprise would be a fact in less then 24 hours! Since only like 4 people knew that i was joining sarah to Ireland we were both quite excited.
Also since I had to lie a bit to Tobias, Julien, Mathieu and Magali about not being able to come back to Ireland with sarah.
Oh well..
Then the second thing of the trip: Flying. I never flew before. in the end it wasn't that special... the lift of was quite 'cool' and the scenery was awesome, but the whole travelling part is no big deal.
When I think about what journey Mona and myself made coming to Ireland by car, and by -scary- boat, i have no regrets of making that decision. Back then (i think we both had) i had a feeling of: Yeah.. we made it to Ireland! whooo!! UL here we come!
And now it was like, oh.. seriously? we're in Ireland already? It has to be.. hmm..
Then we had to go to dublin heuston because we found a cheap train ticket to Limerick.
Sorry... Sorry... SORRY!!!! (everybody looked at us, accept for the old guy sitting in our chair. SORRY!! ur kinda sitting in our chair? we reserved these?
Ok, it was weird sending an old guy away, but he.. all the other seats were booked too!
then we made it to Limerick. We jumped into a cab, and we told the cabdriver not to pull over, to near to the gate. Sarah checked where they were sitting, (tobias etc.) and then I had to run around the building.. ^^
Sarah got her key to her apartment, and we met outside again to put our stuff in her apartment. Then she went back downstairs and I went outside, and 'hiding' next to the balcony.
The surprise was almost happening! ^^
Sarah told them: I have a present for you... Its on the balcony.. At first Mathieu tried to look through the window.. "no, you have to look outside".. and when they were walking out on the balcony I 'ran into them' with a big hug and marching into the living room...
so funny! It was a surreal kinda moment... quite funny to see! ^^
So there I was, all pumped of excitement.. And there they were all like: is this real life?! :P
After a quick demonstration of my new guitar skills, we went off to bed, a nice night.
The next day wasn't anything special. I just went over to their apartment, and had coffee as if nothing ever changed. Unfortunately the boys were all really busy with work.. (yes it's true ;-)) but that was grand anyway.
This night we eat rice together, and we went off to a nice night at Locke's bar.. which was awesomely unreal like! ;-)
Oh by the way: another surprise: Justine also came to Ireland! Thats cool!
the next day justine and myself went off to penny's to do some serious shopping. We both shopped till we dropped, and walked home with two heavy bags full of clothes and other stuff...
And then: Hail started bursting loose from the sky! OMG! thank goodness we had an umbrella, but it didn't help a lott.. we sought shelter in this porch thing of this house where we were at.
Then when it started to get a little bit less we walked back home. And showed off our stuff.. Grand. :)
the next day was thursday. In the morning we didn't do anything special But at night it was fair grand like! we went off to this pub called foley's were we enjoyed a show of traditional Irish music, performed by friends of Nick, a friend of Sarah.. ;-)
By the way, in this week we met 3 other germans, who also decided to live in Parkviewhall during their study abroad. This was really weird, it was the whole 'meeting new people in this erasmus sphere..' all over agian..
Knowing what kind of an fair grand like awesome time they will have..
They joined us this night to, together with a friend of Mathieu, JB, who came to visit Mathieu, to join him to travel back to France..
After foley's we went of to Nancy's... (after making a stop at burger king, where Magali crowned us.. ^^)
This night at Nancy's was really a good time! Dancin' and talking to others... (i got a compliment for my 'Irish accent'.. yay ^^) Some of us were drunk and the other were just having a good time 'on their own', like without too much alcohol... haha Nice one!!
The next day we went off to Aubars, in town, to have a nice coffee. Mathieu, Magali, JB, Justine and myself went off to town so, and mathieu wanted to get some stuff from penny's. This scared Justine and myself but ok, we dared to enter the penny's again.
And this was dangerous, because we both bought some new stuff. again.. haha!
The rest also bought some nice stuff, and that was closure of our shopping in Ireland.. ;-)!
at night we watched this really weird film, before i went of to UL, to get the JJ back to dublin.
The whole travelling went fair enough, and I was back in Groningen at like 2pm. (after leaving at 1 AM... gosh..)
but now i got to show off my new penny's stuff and sharing some new awesome stories.
Now i'm looking foreward to the 23th of september when some are coming to Amsterdam to see Mona and me!!! (and just travelling up to Groningen. ok? ;)) Who's joining?!
And then I hope to travel to some other places after newyears..
(or maybe we should celebrate it together in like Berlin, or Montpellier? ;-))
Some Locke's bar/Foleys/ Nancy's pictures are already on facebook.. Have a look and leave a comment i'd say! :)
I think this is the week in a nutshell.. but it can be summerised in 1 word: Unreal! :D
Miss ye already! but let's meet soon again.. :D

Hey everyone!
It has been a while since my last blog, but then again, without school and work, (and all of my friend do have to go to school and work) life is not really exciting!
Anyhow..
I've now moved to my new place, and this was of course quit an adventure aswell!
At first I helped Cindy move her stuff from her old place to the new souterrain. As some of you know my care, Imagine it fully (!) stuffed and packed.. Its quite a lott. Also with a trailer thing behind it, it was some work.
Of course it didn't go flawless, for example we put a box in front of the door, so it wouldn't close.. Of course just at that one moment that we were all outside of the house, one of us was bein' the genius, and got the box that was holding the door. SLAM. And the door was closed. Cindy: Seriously? Who did this. Were all outside, with the door closed, and the key is inside... -.-" And... I don't have my phone!
Others: 'I don't have me phone either' Me: I have my phone! :) Cindy: Yes, but do you have a number of someone who could help?... no..
So we rang the door of the neighbour because, thank God, the balcony door was still open, so maybe we could climb our way back in the house. And so, this is what happened. With a small ladder, actually to short, so what i meant: With a small short ladder and some beer crates, one of us was able to climb up to the balcony and open the door for us..
Grand.
Then the next day I also brought my stuff to Groningen and we could start unboxing our stuff. We also had some stuff to buy but it was already a two day job just to get everything unpacked. Then we decided to buy a fridge.. (And now we have one that can make icecubes.. ^^) and I got an awesome coffee machine. With this i can make espresso, cappucino, latte's ... you name it, I make it :D
Last Sunday Mona and Max came to Groningen, and they also visited me in Cindy & my new place.. It was so nice! I hope we'll have some more coffee's here together :D
Yesterday I picked up my Ireland photo's which I ordered. Its really cool, my room is now full of Irishness.. Including my awesome flag, St. Patrick's day scarf & hat and about 75 photo's of Ireland, Versailles/Paris, Fishguard, Boats & Ameland adventures. Awesome.
Since we moved here, every day there were people here drinking a wine or a coffee with us so its really 'gezellig' all the time! We have this rule, that if you come the first time, you have to bring a bottle of wine, and in most of the cases it works.. So we have an awesome winerack now.. :D Love it.
So I'm looking foreward to this rack being filled with genuine German, French, Lithuanian, Italian etc. etc. wine! ;-)
Oh by the way.. Anyone wants to come to Amsterdam in the weekend of 23th september?
Love to hear from ye! what ye up to lately?
Ciao!
ps. I will post some pictures here

Hi everyone!
A new blog, because of some international events that happened recently :) A few weeks ago I met Mona & Kathi in Groningen, because Mona had to look for a new place in the city. It was really nice that Kathi came along, coz this way.. Mona and I could show her some 'Groningen' city..
Unfortunately it was 2e Pinksterdag (some of you know this;) the shops where shut. So we couldn't climb the 'Martini tower', but Kathi was lucky enough to experience the Groningse version of the Red Light district. I think I can speak for her if I say it was quite fascinating.
Then later on we went out for diner, and she had some typical dutch 'bitterballen'. She didn't really like it, but oh well.. I do :)
Last weekend was really nice aswell. Alison, a Irish classmate, and a friend of her Emily came to the Netherlands as part of a 'Europe trip'. Sarah also joined with a friend and together with Tianda we went to Ameland, one of the 5 islands of The Netherlands. First night at Tianda's caravan, and the second day in Sarah's house. Tianda had to work, so we didn't spend a lot of time with her, but the rest of us went on the bikes (how dutch can you be) to the beach and the supermarket and so on.
The supermarket was quite something, coz i showed them loads of Dutch specialties and nice food and stuff. The Irish girls were really enthousiastic and they wanted to try a lot of stuff.
Oh, I forgot to mention, before we left to Ameland, we met in Groningen, had a cappucino, and ordered some of the best 'belgium fries' you can get in Groningen.. with saté sauce of course! (its the peanut butter sauce)
first night on Ameland I made 'stamppot andijvie' but unfortunately I forgot the bacon. So it was nice, but something was missing. Oh well.. the taste was still good, so thats grand! Tianda and I also brought 'vla' and they liked that aswell.
The next day, as i mentioned before, we explored the dutch supermarket, en during the rest of the day, they tried all different kinds of food, like:
'Suikerbrood' which is a REALLY nice bread, with loads of sugar in it.. really nice..
'Speculoos' which is a kind of peanut butter, but then different. With the taste of 'speculaas' cookies, I don't think there's an english word for it.. Oh well i guess you just have to come to taste it! They loved it, because you're supposed to put this on bread, which they did initially, but later on they just scooped it out with a spoon :)
They also tried another vla, chocolate whipped cream vla.. Curious? google it: Slagroom vla, chocolade.
Let me see.. we also tried Appelmoes, which is kind of a mushed apple sauce thing.. Its REALLY good, especially with patato things.. (you eat it with ur diner). We made patato pancakes, so the appelmoes was perfect :)
Sarah and I both love it so much, that we scooped this right out of the jar.. ^^
Let me see.. we also tried Pisang Ambon, which apperently you also can't buy in Ireland. Its a liquor kinda thing of Bananas.. mix it with Sprite/7-up and its really sweet, but nice! Its like a soda.. :) On friday we had the same, but then with a 'red fruit' liquor.. really nice aswell..
And some of you are already familiar with the dutch chocolate sprinkles: Hagelslag... Well we bought a slightly different thing: Vlokken.. and they loved it aswell... It was even quit convenient on the boat, because we wanted a bite.. just something to eat.. and so the vlokken came out.. :) Also pure its nice... Who needs bread? :P
So then we wanted to go to the beach.. but there was SO much wind, that we could barely reach the sea without getting a shit load of sand in our eyes..
Well we reached the sea and alison and I were diehard and went into the sea with our feet..
Cold, but quite nice!
By the way: mathieu; thanks for the card trick, I managed to get them Flabbergasted! But I also explained the tricks.. sorry for that... :$
Then we had to go on our way back, and we met Tianda agian on the Boat! Since it was easier for Sarah to take a different route then we had to do, Tianda and the two Irish girls went in the car with me. In the käfer.. However.. My wipers were broken back then, (I already fixed them) and it rained like hell! haha imagine not being able to see a thing on the road, and drive a really old, non-wind-resistant car.. ^^ Nice one!
But we made it home, and a Kids Menu at burger king was a well deserved treat :)
Today I saw Fleur again, which was really nice but we both agreed that is was also strange to see each other in The Netherlands, in stead of Ireland.. that we both miss a lot!
So even though I miss Ireland and the people, the past weekend was really nice, so I can say: Come and explore The Netherlands, and I'll give you the Ultimate Dutch Experience! :) Next week friday I'm gonna have my own place in Groningen, so it'll be perfect! FAIR GRAND LIKE!!
R U in?!

Hi everybody!
Or, Dia dhuit!, Bonjour, Gutentag or just 'Hallo' :)
So I've been back 'home' in The Netherlands now, for a bit more then a week. It's quite strange I'd say! First of all the fact that I'm speaking Dutch non-stop, is kinda strange, since there where almost no Dutch people in Ireland. (Ok, it was not soo bad because I was teaching my neighbour Dutch ^^)
At first I had the feeling that I was just visiting my parents for a week, and that I would return to my 'own' apartment in Limerick, a week later. Helaas.
Then the whole point of getting things started again!
It is going quite fast. Already I met my best friend just in the first few days after my return. My mother organized a small welcome back party on the day that I came back, and last sunday my future roommate/friend and my brother organized a surprise BBQ with all of my friends :) It was really nice!
Last monday I took a look at my future house, my soutterain in Groningen.. which you all have to visit of course, and have a 'kopje koffie' with me :)
It is so awesome! the location is perfect, en the house is really cute!
Also I had to bring my cat to the vet, which you already know from my last blog, but I had to bring her a few days earlier then planned. It was really strange, because she was still eating properly, and responding to me, but her sickness, you could see, was just growing really fast. So I had to make a decision, ok you have to die today. Now, when i miss her, I have this image in my had of her in a box dead.. and I made the vet do it. I know, it was better for her but still... Weird.
Last monday I had my first meeting already, so back in Holland, Back to business! I also dropped my CV at some stores in Groningen, so now I hope someone will call me back, to tell me that I have a Job :)
Next friday I will be back 'on air', back to the radio station! Friday from 6 to 8 (Dutch Time, GMT+1 I think?) Ill be onair at 'radio westerwolde'.. Wich i think you can listen to here: http://www.radiowesterwolde.nl/live/live.wax
And after, i'll have another meeting, about this radio program, so the second meeting is also already planned!
Then, I also had contact with one of my lovely German/Irish neighbours, who is coming to Holland in June!! :D:D:D Were going to explore Groningen, meet two other Irish classmates of mine and then go to the beaches of Ameland, wich is one of the Islands of Holland :D Party time!
Ohja, im going a bit from here to there in my story, but yesterday I lit up the fireplace we have in our garden, and had a beer with a few friends of mine:) it was really nice. And yesterday afternoon myself and a friend went to Germany to buy some liquor... a whole bottle (1 litr or somthing) for: wait for it 4.77 euro!! (which is actually shyte, because before I went to Ireland, it was cheaper haha)
Since my parents and my brother are gone from wednesday till sunday, Today I was really really bored, till i got a text from a friend, asking me what i was doing. 'Nothing' i replied, so we jumped in the car, went to Groningen and had a nice beer (he a cola) on 'sunset dakterras' which is a terras upon a roof! Nice and high, and an awesome atmosphere! Whoop Whoop!
Mcdonalds provided us with some food and now im here again writing this blog :)
Still loads of fun stuf to come: 17th of june, sarah and the others are coming to holland, 1st of july, im going to move to my new housie, 20th of july a friend of mine, from elementryschool/highschool is going to marry! and somewhere around this time i'm expecting more 'Irish/Foreign' friends who will visit me.
I'm probably forgetting to tell you something, but that's no big deal coz then i will have a reason to write ya'll anther blog!
In the mean time, take a look at flickr.com/photos/52882764@N08/ where I posted some pictures of the campfire, and our bar that we made, in our carport.. Awesome! You should check it out here sometime!

Hello everybody!
Since Im in Holland now, I think my blogs should be in English!
I got a few things to catch up with starting with let's say our Dingle tour!
Since there was only one week left in Ireland, but also because Ireland has so much to still show us that we didn't see, Mona Kathi and I still wanted to make a trip. We had to decide between Dingle and connemara, and even though Kathi already went to Dingle, we decided -mainly because of the weather- to go to dingle..
And is was legen -wait for it- dary! Dingle itself is this wonderfull, characteristic cute town, very touristic though, with loads and loads of tiny shops (tá siopa ann) and a little harbor. Good. Since we invited Moritz and Konrad to come with us, and they have a care, we where in the oppertunity to drive the 'ring of kerry', but then the lets say ring of dingle.
And I think Im not lying when I say that this route is more pretty then the o-so famous ring of kerry. We stopped at 2 beaches, took our shoes of at 2 of them, didn't care about anything anymore and just played like children from elementery school, running in the water and jumping over the beaches. It was freaking amazing.
The other part of this week was that we all had to say our goodbyes to those who we spend so much time with the last few months. We had laughs and tears, and flags that needed to be signed. some goodbyes went really slow, the others quit fast.
Its nice to see how much people start to care about each other, look at Michele, when he got the bus at 1 AM I think there were about 30 people to say goodbye to him, what a wonderfull last view of Ireland/Erasmus that must have been.
Other's goodbyes where at parties, where I was asked to be carefull with the choice of music, coming out of Ipig that night!
And sometimes Julien and me played and sang some songs with guitar.. making some awesome new variations of say, "Valerie" of Amy Winehouse and "little lion man" of manford and sons. Awesome, FOR FOK SAKE!
and then the last day there was only 3 erasmus left, Kathi, Mona and me so there was another party. Yes for us ^^.
I'm kinda surprised in what a down mood im in, typing this blog! stupid people, you're making me miss Ireland too much! :P
ok. The actual last day for mona and me was on the saturday. We just put kathi on the bus, and then we where at home again and our neighbours made us a really nice breakfast! Really nice with petit pain from the over and koffie and stuff...:)
With sarah i agreed that i would give my coffee machine to her, so she was really happy with it. Now the has the responsibility to make coffee for the neighbours, and just have a coffee with a cookie -dutch style- so now and then :)
When we were about to leave -Ireland for good- Mona asked if somebody just could do something memorable just as 'the perfect' ending of our Ireland adventure!
Nothing happened. Untill, we were actually outside, the rest following us, when sarah bend over and dropped the coffee filter out of the coffee machine! and of course -as i told her- there was still some, eh.. comment tu dit...eh some coffee powder in in.. so it was spilled all over the carpet. That was where we where talking about! thank you :)
Then Mona and I left.. :( It was really sad!
Then we went to the dunnes store one more time, to buy some guinness and some bulmers. And of course, i Hurt myself in Holland when we came here, so ofcourse i needed to hurt myself on the last day of Ireland.. so apparently my brain thought: lets do not so carefull with the back-car-doors. So jup, i slammed my finger in between these two lovely doors... au...
I went to the frozen department, to put my finger in betweens some sacs of peas.. ahaha.. and yes, after i needed to wipe the blood of it.. ^^ ghehe...
So, after I spend 80 euro's on alocohol we could leave Ireland.
We drove to Rosslare, were the boat was waiting for us to bring us to Cherbourg. We went by Celtic ferries this time, unlike the other way when we had stenaline! Unfortunately this was not stenaline :( And also, it was really weird, because they only asked for what name our ticket was reserved on.. we didnt have to show our passport ONE TIME! omg... and also: they didn't check our car -or any other- one time!
So our cabin was quit nice.. but the rest was really shyte! On our way to Ireland, in the Stenaline, We had a really nice cappucino/café latte and we wanted to have the same again... so we saw that he also had a nice machine, so we paid 7 euro's for 2 cappucino.. and what did he do! :O he pushed a freakin button on a instant machine next to it,.. so we had to drink a 3.50 cappucino that tasted like shit! We where really sad that it wasnt stena :(
Then the next day we arrived in Sunny France (we left a rainy Ireland so that's way better). It was really strange to actually have to make an effort to speak French, for them being normal and for us as a effort and not just something to look fancy. Then i needed to be carefull because i learned how to swear in french in Ireland.. and this was becoming normal for me. Ok, so we where at a gassstation in line, coz we wanted to buy a sandwich. It was a long cue and when i looked back I saw this other lady opening another cashregister. So i wanted to swear so i said PUT... i wanted to finish with AIN.. but then i rememberd being in France so i stopped myself.. But I already said puut, which is actually worse then saying putain.. Nice... haha.. you should have seen the look on the girl's face standing behind me haha! omg.. ok, and we travelled on. Mona started texting with Sandy.. she thought. Her replies where really unlike her, and mona wondered if she was okay. But when we really started to worry was when 'she' replied that is was ok that when we finished the garden of versailles, that we could join the rest in paris.. WHAT!? is she then not at home? we where really confused... anyhow, we followed tomtom to Sandy's place.. and i needed to make a turn, because we where in front of there house.. but i needed to park. So i backed up at the pavement.. needed to be carefull coz there was already somebody walking there.. so mona and i where really sharp fixated on the pavement when suddenly we heard a loud scream coming at us... We both were in total shock, but it was sandy just really excited to meet us in France :) thank God.. haha
so I parked the car 'inside' and then we started to explain the whole situation with the text, that we didn't get it and stuff... on which she replied: but i didnt' get any texts? We checked, and mona texted whole day with arthur!! Including the 'bisou' and 'love you' in each text haha!
so we had a quick drink, and a chat with sandy's parents.. (in french!!.. at least... we tried :() and then we went of to paris, to see the others. We had a cocktail and some sushi, and then we went into a pub and then back home again!
The next day we left early went to versailles, met Arthur there again, and went to the palace and the Garden of Versailles to have a picnic ( an actual picnic a 'outside meal', with sandwich etc) there.. it was freakin' lovely, coz it was like 30 degrees, no clouds and no wind :D Perfect.
Then we went to paris again, te meet the rest at the eiffel tower. We walked through paris, ate at a lovely place (a real nice burger, with a beer) and then went to sacre couer to see paris at night!
then we had to leave again...
we had a long drive togo.. and we didn't make a lot of stops. Except for in Belgium, where i needed to fuel op, and we wanted to grab a bite. This was really strange for me, because we where in dutch belgium. So I had to think about.. im not in my own country, BUT i cán actually speak dutch and they will understand me.. For some reason this was really strange for me.. also i needed to laugh in myself, because -even though this lady was REALLY friendly- she had of course the flamish accent.. which is quit different and cuter then the duch.. and therefore just really funny for me.. haha
we fueled up, had a pizza and it was really nice there! :)
oh, btw.. at another gasstation somebody said to me: why are you speaking english to me if you're french? Sorry? im not french haha! it was btw the second time, because in the metro in Paris, i met 2 dutch ladies, working for a travel compagnie and they asked me: but you dont life in Holland do ya? i said.. yes why? yes.. you hear like you're from france.. :S
Why does suddenly everybody think im french? I only now french swear words for crying out loud!
haha.. ohja.. and some nice sentences... but i wasnt allowed to use them at the goodbyes from matthieu haha He probably has right, saying 'vas te faire enculer' is way nicer then saying: tu vas me manquer' ... hmm..
anyway.. we travelled on to holland and at 8 oclock I arrive 'home'.. or at least.. at my parents home..
It was so strange for talking dutch, that it's 'normal' (even though i started to speak english sometimes... without me even realising it)
mona her parents where there to pick her up, so it was in a few minutes time: English, German, Dutch, Gronings so it was a multi langual evening! haha..
The next day I had to call the Vet to make an oppointment for my cat.. coz she needs to have a injection on tuesday. She is sick and we have to finish it :( Nice hea?! on my second day at home!
It is by the way really strange to be at home.. i feel like im on vacation at my parents.. and that i need to go 'home' again in a week, to Limerick.. but ja.. thats not gonna happen of course.
There are some nice things in the near future, sarah and allison are coming to Holland, and i can show them Groningen.. and after were going to Ameland, an Island of Holland.. :)
And Matthieu texted me that he's trying to come to holland this summer!!! :D:D yay..
Also some other Frenchies are trying to come to holland, but they don't know when yet.. But its nice to know that they wanna!
So tonight Im having a beer with a friend of mine in our bar.. which for me was normal to have a drink and a chat every day, at somebody's house.. but here its abnormal.. and i actually have to make a big effort for making people coming over here... :(
Anyway.. erasmus feeling will remain in my heart!
To unleash it again next year in Prague!
I'd like to finish this blog with my facebook post of 'facts' which contains everything of my erasmus in Ireland..
Thank you again everybody for this experience.. and for sure; its the end of erasmus in Ireland.. but not the end of 'us'! :D

I'd like to finish this blog with my facebook post of 'facts' which contains everything of my erasmus in Ireland..
The fact that we're never able to say 'breakfast' normally again, or to be able to hear people talk about there breakfast, and not having to laugh/ !and now: the same for 'picknick' aswell!
the fact that everytime we say 'me too', we have to think about 'the italians'/
The fact that the sentence 'that's fair grand like' will lose all of its strenght in Holland../
the fact that some facial expressions are just able to replace at least 4 words/
the fact you can make a whole meal, from just patatoes, eggs and a bit flower/
The fact that some people are 'immer am senden dran'/
The fact that I forgot how to swear in dutch, and im only able to swear in French now ^^/
How lovely it is, to be at a party, and the host comes 'because she has to drink with all (!) of the guests/
the fact that 'somewhere over the rainbow' got a new thought attached/
Knowing that French guys, for some reason, really like to stand half-naked on the street, claccing their chatte.. (or smthng like this :p)/
the fact that i have to teach my friends back home, an awesome & easy dance.. because it will look stupid if im just doing it alone../
The fact that 'proud mary' got a whole new context/
Just like, little lion man, rehab, wonderwall etc. etc.
Knowing that I will not able to say 'zakje' again, without laughing.. hard../
the fact that i got carefull of the swedish personal space.. I think they bite if you come to close... "SJUUSCH!" (;-))/
Knowing that -back home- saying 'sláinte' will only confuse people, instead of making them excited for the evening../
the fact that shouting 'buffalo' will probably not make people drink the whole glass at once in holland/
The fact that if i see someone walk crippled, that he/she probably just tripped... in stead of being cold.... everywhere/
the fact i have to look for another person, who can make me laugh only by talking to me.. or sometimes even just looks at me../
The fact that i have to change my sleeping pattern... again/
the fact that i probably won't spend every night till 4am just talking in someone's living room.../
the fact that i only have to pay 4 euro's for a bottle of apfelkorn.. and if it breaks, i can just get a new one... ;-)/
The fact that guinness in any other location will probably be "scheit"/
the fact i can go in to city center, and party till 6 am if i wantto.. and go straight to the next 'bar' to have a -wait for it- "morning meal"/
Thinking that going out on a monday night, will probably never be so much fun/
the fact that 'a nice night at locke bar' is not so easy to organize anymore.. of course ;-) /
The fact that i will never forget the awesomeness of Erasmus 2011 in Ireland, with Dreamteam ParkviewPeople and all the others I met!
Awesome, Geil.
Lets pump this last week till the limits.
Love ye
Thank you again everybody for this experience.. and for sure; its the end of erasmus in Ireland.. but not the end of 'us'! :D

Hoi iedereen,
Laat ik beginnen met het 'come as you are' feestje, in kilmurry.
:P haha, 'you've got 15 minutes to get out'... ok...
No problem.
het ging van wonderwall tot somewhere over the rainbow, en van rehab tot little iron man. NICE.
In ieder geval wil in nog naar dingle, with or without them! ;-)
Almost home, but leaving with mixed feelings..
Ciao!
